Our Approach
The scope of work included the new dedicated feeders, protection, and controllers with transfer switches for four (4) 150HP Fire Pumps in high-rise buildings. New MI cables, fire-rated for 2 hours, were constructed in two (2) high-rise towers from the rooftop generators to the basement Fire Protection rooms.
New feeders were constructed from two (2) Utility substations to Fire Pump Controllers. New breakers with solid-state protective relays were installed to protect new feeders and new Fire Pump controllers. All construction tasks were completed and commissioned within 12 months with no major interruptions to normal operations of the facilities.
